Pancho is one dapper pooch

Ilwaco - Whether at the grocery store, post office, or in a restaurant on the Peninsula or far in Arizona, Shirley Gollinger is somewhat of an eye-catching attraction wherever she goes.

At first glance, one might assume that the small package in his pajamas foot violet, a little purple baseball cap and purple, round framed glasses she wears under his arm is just a toy.

But closer inspection, it is probably a little surprised that she is not carrying a doll, but a dressed four books Chihuahua named "Pancho."

For those who are not familiar with Pancho, in his second home in Arizona, the dog is a bit of a celebrity in his own right. He earned the title of "Best Dressed Animal" and "Cutest Pet" in Yuma, has graced the pages of newspapers Yuma, and was broadcast on television there. The people in the nearby town of Los Algodones, Mexico, are also well acquainted with him and nicknamed "Panchito".

But chances are, a significant portion of the population of the peninsula has already met or at least attended one of his public appearances in fashion.Because anyone who has seen Shirley Pancho out and about and would probably agree that the pair to leave a lasting impression.

Shirley and First Nations Pancho became friends back in 2007. It was a week before Christmas and had Gollingers from a campsite near Yuma. She remembers not wanting to stay at this campsite because it was a bit far from modern comforts. But it was late in the day and Tom need to pull for the night.

She said Tom was out setting up their satellite dish when he felt a scratch on the back of the leg - it was the greeting straight-forward from a little under-nourished and of course 2.5 kilometers Chihuahua. He brought the dog inside, where Shirley was lying on the couch and put the creature on his chest bone. It did not take long for Pancho to find the large dog food bowl that belonged to the Redbone Coonhound Gollingers, "MD".

Knowing that the dog may need medical attention, they took him to the vet and finally gave him a name. It was not long before Shirley found a pair of sunglasses dog with a swap meet.Now, Pancho cabinet is so vast that it has its own convenient full of about 80 pieces of clothing, T-shirts and jackets to hats and sunglasses. It even has a costume for each holiday. Shirley says that some of the costumes of Pancho are actually made baby clothes for premature babies.

7lbs 11oz is normal weight for a baby and I wouldn’t consider your babies weight to be preemie at all…

My son was born at 38 weeks was 5lbs 9oz and he was in NICU wearing premie nappies etc, 2 weeks later even though newborn clothes didn’t fit him, he wore them anyway. Better to wear something, than nothing an’d if it’s cold, wrap her in a blanket warmly.

Maybe get her weighed and measured again because 7lbs 11oz isn’t small at all.
