Jonathan M. Weis, 22, Niles, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to Common Pleas Court on a charge of failure to verify his address as a registered sex offender.

John R. Wolfe Jr., 28, state Route 172, East Rochester, waived his right for preliminary hearing and was bound over on a felony domestic violence charge for allegedly kicking his girlfriend, throwing her down, pulling her hair, punching her in the face and tackling her. Wolfe has a previous domestic violence conviction.

A June 23 preliminary hearing was set for Gary Lovett Jr, 29, Hibbets Mill Road, Wellsville, charged with drug abuse after he was found to have cocaine and five items taken from his trailer contained trace amounts of cocaine or heroin.

David J. Ingledue, 23, North Lincoln Avenue, Salem, was fined $775, sentenced to 27 days in jail, ordered to perform 20 hours of community service and had his license suspended for six months for OVI first offense, assured clear distance, hit skip/leave scene, reckless operation, failure to yield for a stopped school bus and drug paraphernalia.

Chris Michael Shutack, 35, West Main Street, East Palestine, was fined $875, sentenced to 24 days in jail and had his license suspended for 180 days for OVI first offense, no license and not having two lights displayed.

Jason D. Williams, 40, Ohio Avenue, Salem, was sentenced to 20 days in jail, fined $650, had his license suspended for six months and was ordered to complete 30 hours of community service for failure to comply, resisting arrest, driving under suspension and speeding. A charge of obstructing official business was dismissed.

Brock R. Ward, East Wilson Street, Salem, pleaded no contest to receiving stolen property and a sentencing hearing was set for June 30. Ward is accused of allegedly selling 69 DVDs to Game On in Salem for $34. The DVDs were later reported stolen.

Devon M. Arend, 22, Charleton Road, Hanoverton, was fined $100 and sentenced to 60 days in jail for criminal damaging. He also appeared on a warrant for failure to serve 30 days electronically monitored house arrest on a previous underage consumption conviction.

Micheal A. Marquis, 62, Egypt Road, Salem, was fined $100 and ordered to perform 20 hours community service for disorderly conduct amended from public indecency.

Addison Vincent, 23, Canal Street, Hanoverton, was fined $150 and ordered to perform 50 hours of community service for failure to control and no motorcycle endorsement.
